When we operate the forklift and find that it cannot lift normally, it may be due to the following reasons:

1. Hydraulic system problem

The most common reason why the forklift cannot lift is hydraulic system failure, which may be caused by hydraulic pump failure, hydraulic cylinder seal damage or insufficient hydraulic oil. When a hydraulic system failure occurs, the forklift may not lift smoothly or cannot lift at all.

Solution: First, you need to check whether the hydraulic oil is sufficient and check whether each hydraulic pipeline is damaged or leaking. If the hydraulic oil is sufficient, but the hydraulic pump or hydraulic cylinder is faulty, you need to replace the corresponding hydraulic components in time.

2. Mechanical failure

1. Insufficient oil: If the forklift hydraulic oil is insufficient, it will affect the work of the hydraulic system and cause the forklift to fail to lift. It is necessary to check and add hydraulic oil in time. If there is still a problem after refueling, it may be due to pump or cylinder failure, and the corresponding parts need to be replaced.

2. Oil circuit blockage: If the oil pipeline is blocked, the forklift will not be able to lift normally. You can check and clean the oil pipeline. If the problem is not solved after cleaning, you may need to replace the hydraulic oil filter.

3. Cylinder oil leakage: Poor cylinder seal or aging and wear of seals cause oil leakage in the cylinder, which will cause the forklift to fail to lift. It can be repaired by replacing the seal or the entire cylinder.

3. Electrical failure

1. Circuit failure: If there is a problem with the forklift circuit, such as damage to the solenoid valve or motor, it will affect the normal operation of the hydraulic system and cause the forklift to fail to lift. You can check the circuit and replace the corresponding damaged parts.

2. Low battery power: If the battery power is insufficient, it will affect the operation of the drive motor, and then affect the normal operation of the hydraulic system, causing the forklift to fail to lift. The battery needs to be charged or replaced in time.

3. The lifting electrical system of the forklift may fail, such as failure of the lifting controller, damage to the contactor or relay, etc. When an electrical failure occurs, the forklift may fail to start the motor or the lifting speed is too slow.

Solution: First, you need to check whether the power supply is normal, and check whether the lifting controller, contactor and relay are working properly. If a fault is found after inspection, the faulty component needs to be replaced in time.
