The loader braking system ensures the safety of the driver, so today we have compiled some common faults of the loader braking system and their reference causes and solutions.

The barometer pressure rises slowly. Possible reasons include pipeline leakage, abnormal operation of the air pump, one-way valve failure, oil-water separator drain bolt not tightened or pressure regulating valve leakage, etc. The reference solution is to eliminate air leakage in the pipeline, check the working status of the air pump, check the oil-water separator drain plug or pressure regulating valve, and check the one-way valve for stuck conditions.

Insufficient or weak braking power. Possible reasons include brake oil leakage, air in the brake oil line, damaged wheel hub oil seal, oil stain on the caliper disc, severe brake wear or burnt friction surface, air line pressure adjustment is too low, etc. Reference solutions include repair, adjustment, or replacement of parts.

The braking system cannot slow down and stop. Possible reasons include insufficient brake air pressure, brake valve failure, air in the brake oil pipe, no brake fluid or insufficient brake fluid, rupture of the brake oil pipe or oil leakage from the oil pipe joint, etc. The solution is to check and eliminate the brake air pressure, repair or replace the brake valve, eliminate the air in the oil pipe, and check and replace the leaking oil pipe joint.

Braking is not smooth. The possible reasons are that the friction plate is worn and thinned, the dust ring is damaged and water enters, the piston is rusted and stuck, or the return spring in the booster pump is weak or broken, etc. The solution is to check and replace damaged parts and adjust the piston rod length.

When applying the brakes, oil mist sprays out. The possible cause is that the brake light switch is damaged or the piston rod of the afterburner pump is too long. The solution is to replace the damaged switch or adjust the piston rod length.

Finally, the failure of the loader braking system may be caused by various problems such as hydraulic system failure and transmission system failure. When dealing with these faults, detailed inspection should be carried out first to determine the specific cause of the fault, and then corresponding solutions should be taken. At the same time, regular inspection and maintenance are very important to prevent and reduce failures of the loader braking system.
