The smooth operation of a forklift relies on the good condition of its various accessories. To ensure safe and stable performance, it is important to replace key components according to specified cycles. In this article, we will provide detailed information about the replacement cycle for the main parts of a forklift, helping you maintain your equipment effectively.

1.Oil filter: The oil filter is responsible for keeping the engine oil clean and preventing blockages in the oil circuit. It is recommended to change both the oil filter and engine oil after every 240-1000 hours of use.

2.Air filter: The air filter blocks dust particles from entering the engine, reducing cylinder wear. It should be cleaned monthly or after every 240 working hours, and replaced after 240-1000 working hours.

3.Gasoline and diesel filters: These filters remove impurities and moisture from fuel to ensure normal engine operation. They also need to be replaced after 240-1000 hours of use.

4.Spark plug: The spark plug affects engine acceleration and fuel consumption. Generally, it should be replaced every 3000-6000 hours.

5.Timing belt: Responsible for transmitting power in internal combustion engines or gas engines, timing belts should typically be replaced after 6000-9000 hours of use to prevent aging and breakage.

6.Tires: For pneumatic tires, pay attention to side cracks and tread depth; solid tires do not require inflation but are more durable overall. Both types should be replaced when they reach a specific level of wear.

7.Brake pads: Brake pads directly affect driving safety; they should generally be inspected and replaced every 3000-6000 hours or when their braking effect significantly weakens.

8.Battery/batteries: Battery life usually lasts around two years but can vary depending on daily maintenance practices and charging habits; some high-quality batteries may last longer than two years.

9. Various oils: including hydraulic oil, engine oil, transmission oil, gear oil, brake oil, antifreeze, etc., all should be replaced or replenished according to usage and usage time.

10. Electrical connectors: They may become loose and corroded in harsh environments and should be inspected regularly.

11. Generator bearings: After long-term use, they should be overhauled to extend their life. The same is true for the water pump, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor bearings.

12. Brake disc (brake disc): Wear together with the brake shoes. It is usually recommended to replace the brake disc after replacing the shoes 2-3 times.
