Check the lubrication system. In addition to replacing the three elements (air filter element, diesel filter element, oil filter element), each hydraulic oil filter element must be replaced or cleaned. Lubricating oil and fuel oil should be replaced according to regional and seasonal requirements. If the lubricating oil has been released before, you should open the oil filling port on the cylinder head, add qualified lubricating oil, let it stand for ten minutes, check the oil dipstick, it should be flush with the "upper" line of the oil dipstick, and then let it stand for 20-30 minutes. Check the oil level for another minute. If there is a rise, it is necessary to find out the cause and eliminate the fault. If it is an engine with a turbocharger, remove the hollow bolt of the oil inlet of the suspension bearing of the turbocharger, drop a few drops of lubricating oil, and then install it. Grease nipples and oil cups should be complete. All lubricating parts and assemblies should be filled with lubricating oil or grease according to the specified oil products. The breather should be clean and unobstructed.

Check the cooling system. In cold areas, it is important to check whether the engine has frostbite, especially if the engine has not been drained or antifreeze has not been added before, carefully check whether there are signs of frost cracks in the engine body water block, water drain switch, oil radiator, etc. If it is normal, add soft water until the mouth of the water tank is flush, and let it stand for an hour to see if there is any change in the water level. If the water level drops, you need to find out the reason. If there is no drop, it is normal. Be careful not to add well water and tap water that are prone to scale.
Check the circuit system. The circuits of start-up, lighting and instrumentation should be normal, and the insulating parts of all electrical accessories must not have leakage or short circuit. The engine cold starting device in cold regions should work normally.
When the battery is low in power, it should be charged with one-tenth of the rated current of the battery. When charging a lead-acid battery, the liquid level of the electrolyte should be at the same level as the engraved line or 10-15 mm higher than the separator, and the filling plug should be opened to prevent the air outlet from being blocked and the battery exploding due to excessive air pressure. After charging is complete, the voltage of the single battery should be around 13 volts.

After all the above checks are normal, the main and auxiliary transmission handles should be in the "empty", "lower", "middle" or "separated" positions before starting; the hydraulic power unit should be in the "middle" position; at this time, you can open the flywheel housing. Open the small window, use a small crowbar to move the flywheel ring gear, turn the crankshaft several times, then turn on the ignition switch to start the power. The speed needs to be low first and then high, gradually increase the power speed, observe the instrument at the same time, listen to the sound carefully, if there is any abnormality, stop the machine first, check and eliminate the fault.
