There may be many reasons why the forklift light does not light up, including burnt filament, loose wires, poor grounding, open or short circuit, excessive charging voltage adjustment, and failure of various switches. You can refer to the following reasons to help you make a judgment:

The circuit protector is faulty. If the fuse of the forklift is tripped, it may cause the lights to not light up. You should check whether the fuse is tripped and whether there is an open circuit, loose connector or damaged fuse.

There is poor contact between the lamp holder and the bulb. Check whether the contact between the lamp holder and the bulb is good. If the spring at the contact point of the lamp holder has lost its elasticity due to long-term use, the spring or even the lamp holder assembly should be replaced.

Relay failure. If the forklift light relay does not work properly, you should check whether the wiring is correct, whether the coil is short-circuited or open-circuited, whether the contacts are burned, whether the core gap is too large or too small, and repair and adjust according to technical requirements if necessary.

Light failure. If the light is bright and dim, it may be that the bimetal fuse has loose contacts, poor contact, or burnt out problems. You should check the contact of the bimetal fuse and whether it is hot to touch. Use a wire to connect the two connecting posts of the fuse (that is, the fuse is short-circuited) to temporarily eliminate the fault or replace it with a new one.

In addition, if the lights of the forklift do not light up, it may be that the light switch is damaged or there is a problem with the light circuit. You can try to measure the voltage of the relevant lines to check if there is a power supply problem, or change the lighting line to solve the problem. Finally, if you are not familiar with the electrical system, it is recommended to contact professional maintenance personnel for inspection and repair. Doing routine maintenance will reduce the probability of failure.
