Today is March 25th, which is a good season for spring plowing and sowing. The tractor is ready to show its talents. However, when tractors are operating, it is often found that tires are worn, exploded, and broken. In fact, this is caused by improper use and maintenance. So how to maintain tractor tires? The following will introduce to you how to maintain tractor tires.
First of all, correctly adjust the air pressure of the tractor tires. The air pressure has a great impact on the service life of the tires. Low air pressure causes large deformation of the carcass, making the tire easy to break, peel and delaminate. When the air pressure is high, especially under high temperatures in summer, it is easy to cause tire burst. According to investigations, as far as front tire damage is concerned, the cause of some front tire damage is often insufficient or excessive air pressure.
Therefore, you often use a pressure gauge to check the tire pressure. The error should be less than the factory specification of 0.02 MPa. Depending on the temperature, appropriate allowance for thermal expansion and contraction should be left when inflating. Regularly check whether the valve core is out of air.
Second, keep the tractor at a reasonable load. When the tires are overloaded, damage will be accelerated. Therefore, when considering the normal load of the tire, 80% to 90% of the load is appropriate, and overloading is prohibited.
3. Precautions when operating the tractor. On the basis of strictly abiding by traffic laws, regulations and operating procedures, try to do the following aspects to extend the service life of the tires. The main thing is to start and stop smoothly, use less sudden braking, stick to medium speed, pay attention to the road surface, and do not drive at high speed on uneven roads. Try to avoid wear and damage caused by abnormal tire deformation, impact, etc.

At the same time, the left and right tires should have the same air pressure and the same old and new tires to avoid uneven wear. If the wear is uneven, the tires can be swapped. When replacing new tires, they should be replaced in pairs on the same axle.
4. Pay attention to the safekeeping of tractor tires at ordinary times, clean the stolen goods on the tires as much as possible, and try not to stick to corrosive substances such as oil, acid or alkali to prevent the tires from accelerating aging. After parking, try to protect the tires from wind, sun, and rain, and park them in a dry garage. When parking during leisure hours, the tires should be propped up to avoid local deformation of the tires. Tires should not be stored for too long (such as more than 2 years), otherwise their lifespan will be shortened.
Worn tractor tires not only increase repair costs, but are also time-consuming and labor-intensive. So we need to take good care of our tractor tires.
