Recently, I have seen many people asking for help online about common faults in tractor electrical systems, so today I have compiled some common faults to share with you, hoping to help you!
1. Line aging: The lines in the tractor electrical system are a common cause of failure. The reason why they are prone to aging is mainly due to the influence of the use environment. The main manifestations of circuit aging are that the circuit skin becomes hard, dark, cracked, and the wire skin cracks and falls off. These phenomena will cause the resistance of the circuit to increase, the insulation performance to deteriorate, and in severe cases, short circuits and battery leakage.
2. Fuse problem: If the fuse is installed improperly or a fuse with a small rating is used, it will cause failure of the electrical system. If the fuse is improperly selected, for example, if the fuse is too small, it will not be blown in time when the current is overloaded, and in severe cases, the wire will be burned.
3. Line connection problems: Insecure connections are a common problem in lines. Loose joints, poor contacts, broken wires, etc. are all important causes of electrical failures. When connecting lines, be sure to connect them firmly to ensure good contact, and wire joints cannot be exposed to avoid causing electrical accidents.
4. Electrical component issues: The selection of electrical components is very important for the normal operation of the electrical system. If the installed electrical components are of poor quality, have insufficient mechanical strength, or have reduced temperature and pressure resistance, electrical failures may occur. Additionally, electrical failures can result if electrical components do not match.
The method to avoid the above faults is also very simple. In addition to paying attention to daily maintenance, you must choose components with correct specifications and operate them strictly according to the requirements in the instructions. This type of electrical faults can be reduced a lot.
