How to use rotary tiller correctly?

Jul 20, 2022

1. At the beginning of the operation, the rotary tiller should be kept in a rising state. First, the power take-off shaft should be combined to increase the rotation speed of the knife shaft to the rated rotation speed, and then the rotary tiller should be lowered so that the blade gradually sinks into the soil to the desired place. It is forbidden to combine the power output shaft or lower the rotary tiller after the blade is buried in the soil, so as to avoid bending or breaking of the blade and increasing the load of the tractor.

2. During the operation, it is necessary to drive at a low speed as far as possible, which can not only ensure the operation quality, make the soil blocks finely broken, but also reduce the wear of the machine parts. Pay attention to listen to whether there is noise or metal knocking sound of the rotary tiller, and observe the broken soil and ploughing depth. In case of any abnormality, the machine shall be shut down for inspection, and the operation can be continued only after it is solved.

3. When turning at the end of the land, it is forbidden to operate. The rotary tiller should be raised to keep the blade off the ground, and the accelerator of the tractor should be reduced to avoid damaging the blade.

4. When reversing, crossing ridges and transferring plots, the rotary tiller shall be lifted and the power shall be cut off to avoid damaging the parts. If it is transferred to a distant place, the rotary tiller shall be fixed with a locking device.

5. After each shift, the rotary tiller shall be maintained. Deal with the soil and weeds on the blade, check the fastening of each connecting piece, add lubricating oil to each lubricating oil point and grease to the universal joint to avoid aggravating the wear.
