Now that the temperature in the northern hemisphere is getting warmer, more and more tractors are beginning to be put into spring agricultural production. Since the tractor is stored for a long time in winter, a comprehensive maintenance and upkeep should be carried out before operation to ensure the normal operation of the tractor.
1. Remove dirt, dust, and oil from all parts of the tractor, check whether the exhaust holes are clear, and clear them if they are blocked.
2. Check whether parts are loose, especially parts that are easily loosened and need to be re-reinforced. Check whether the tire pressure is sufficient and whether the tire pressure on both sides is consistent. Check whether the tension of the V-belt is appropriate.
3. Check each oil level and water level, add diesel, engine oil, cooling water, brake fluid and hydraulic oil in time, and check whether there is enough and whether there is leakage. Replace the engine oil and gear oil that are suitable for the temperature, clean the oil filter, and replace the oil filter element.
4. Clean the diesel tank filter, clean or replace the diesel filter, and maintain the air filter.
5. Whether the battery terminals are clean, the wiring is tight, and the ventilation holes are unobstructed.
6. After the engine is started, run the engine from low speed to medium speed and finally to high speed for 5 minutes each time. Check the engine, chassis and other places for abnormal phenomena and sounds, and for overheating and oil leakage. water leakage and other phenomena, and eliminate them in time. Check whether the instruments, lights, horns, wipers, and indicators are working properly.
7. Start slowly, check whether the tractor moves smoothly, gradually operate each gear from low to high, check whether the gear switching is smooth, whether the brakes and transmission are working normally, and operate the steering wheel hydraulic pressure at low, medium and high engine speeds. Check whether the steering is smooth, whether there are any abnormal noises in the gearbox and rear axle, and repair any faults promptly.
8. Check whether the vehicle tools are complete.
