What if the tractor leaks oil?

Jan 29, 2024

Tractors will inevitably break down, such as oil leakage. Here are some emergency handling and troubleshooting methods, but please pay attention! Everyone's tractor will be different. All attempts must be made in accordance with the operation manual and factory regulations. Repairs cannot be made blindly! If you encounter a fault that cannot be solved, please contact maintenance personnel in time.

The cause of oil leakage from the fuel supply switch of the fuel tank may be caused by damage to the graphite and asbestos oil seals at the switch:

Remove the switch, take out the packing, use oil-resistant rubber sheets to make two round pads with an outer diameter 1 mm larger than the switch housing hole and an inner diameter 1.50 mm larger than the handle screw, sandwich the rubber pads between the steel pads, and then Put it on the handle screw and tighten the gland device. 2. Wrap graphite and asbestos rope between the two steel pads and fill them up, and tighten the gland device. If there is still oil leakage, then there is a high probability that the problem of graphite and asbestos oil seals can be ruled out.

The reasons for oil leakage from hollow screw joints may be: 1. The end face of the oil pipe joint and the gasket are uneven; 2. The screw holes on the housing are uneven.

Grind the joints and washers smooth. Flatten the hexagonal inner surface of the cannulated screw, and then tighten it or apply sealant on both sides of the gasket.

The reason for oil leakage from the bell mouth of the oil pipe may be that the cone surface of the oil pipe bell mouth and the bell mouth seat are not properly sealed.

When twisting the joint, first screw the end with the horn. 2. After grinding the bell mouth joint, apply sealant on the cone surface, then tighten or saw off the bell mouth, and re-expand it with an expander.

The cause of oil leakage at the joint surfaces of the casing is the oil pan, cylinder head, valve cover, gear chamber cover, gearbox cover, starter gearbox cover, etc. Oil leakage at the joint surfaces of the casing is usually due to various fasteners. Not tightened, damaged or failed gasket.

  1. Carry out fastening work daily. 2. For parts that are not often disassembled, such as paper pads, you can apply red glue on both sides of the paper pad; 3. For frequently disassembled parts, such as valve chamber covers, filter housings and other joint surfaces, asbestos pads should be used. And coat the pad with lead oil. When tightening, the bolts at the location should be tightened symmetrically several times. In addition, it should be ensured that the gasket is intact, the joint surface of the parts is flat and clean, and there is no misalignment or deformation of the parts.

He possible reasons for oil leakage at each joystick shaft are: 1. The sealing gasket is damaged. 2. The matching gap between the shaft and the hole increases.

A suitable oil-resistant rubber can be used as a gasket according to the diameter of the rod shaft. Its inner diameter is 1-3 mm smaller than the shaft diameter. It can be installed on the shaft surface in contact with the hole wall and pressed tightly.

Finally, the most important thing is that failures are inevitable. Don't let emotions affect you. Pessimism will only make things worse, so keep an optimistic attitude!
