What if the tractor leaks oil?

Feb 01, 2024

Tractors will inevitably break down, such as oil leakage. Here are some emergency handling and troubleshooting methods, but please pay attention! Everyone's tractor will be different. All attempts must be made in accordance with the operation manual and factory regulations. Repairs cannot be made blindly! If you encounter a fault that cannot be solved, please contact maintenance personnel in time.

The reasons for gear oil leakage in the gearbox may be: 1. The matching gap between the gearbox bearing and the shaft hole is too large; 2. The oil seal is worn and aged.

The gap between the shaft holes in the box body is too large and can be repaired by inserting the sleeve method. If oil leakage occurs due to wear and aging of the oil seal, the oil seal should be replaced.

Oil leakage from the crankcase may be caused by a damaged paper pad or loose screws.

Remove the oil pan and check the gasket. If the gasket is intact, wipe it clean and apply a layer of red glue; if it is damaged, replace it with a new one. Screws should be tightened symmetrically and evenly. If the oil is still leaking, then it is likely to rule out the cause of the paper pad and screw.

The reason for oil leakage from the high-pressure oil pipe may be that after long-term use, the cone surface of the joint of the high-pressure oil pipe has been worn, resulting in loose sealing.

Place a piece of plastic pipe 1-2 mm long and about 5 mm in diameter at the joint between the cone surface and the taper hole of the high-pressure oil pipe, or place a copper washer with an inner diameter slightly larger than the inner diameter of the oil pipe and an appropriate outer diameter, or replace it with a new high-pressure oil pipe. If oil still leaks, it is likely that the seal is not tight.

The reasons for oil leakage from the supporting rollers, supporting pulleys and guide wheels may be 1. The rubber sealing sleeve is worn and aged; 2. The sealing ring is severely worn.

Replace the rubber sealing sleeve promptly. Replace the large upper sealing ring. The two rough joint surfaces of the sealing ring must be properly ground and a layer of graphite grease should be applied on both sides. After installation, water and dirt must not be allowed to enter for 24 hours.

The reasons for oil leakage from the oil filling port and the oil drain port may be: 1. The threads and pitches of the seals in the diesel tank, gasoline tank, hydraulic tank, diesel coarse and fine filter, high-pressure oil pump, oil pan, gearbox, etc. are inconsistent. 2. The diesel tank cover has no sealing rubber.

Keep the screws and thread pitch of the sealing parts consistent, and use fine buckles on all screws. Install sealant rubber.

Finally, the most important thing is that failures are inevitable. Don't let emotions affect you. Pessimism will only make things worse, so keep an optimistic attitude!
