Correct Use And Maintenance Of Corn Harvester

Aug 30, 2022

1. Correct operation process.

1). During the operation of the corn harvester, the header and chopper shall be hung on the rear suspension frame and driven at a constant speed. No one is allowed to ride except one staff member.

2). Before harvesting, the staff should check the maturity and variety of plants, the basic condition of the land, the lodging condition, etc., and whether there are wooden piles, ridges, stones, ditches, etc. in the soil blocks, which should be paid attention to during operation. Pay attention to prevent the vehicle from sinking. Select the field with light standing or falling for harvesting. The plants with serious lodging shall be harvested manually in time.

3). Before the unit enters the operation area, check again to see if the engine speed is stable at the normal operating speed, and then start to work, so as to strictly prevent over speed operation.

4) Try harvesting with low gear first, and leave a lane for grain unloading vehicles and personnel to pass through and turn.

5). If the trial cutting is normal, it can be increased by one gear. Stop checking the harvest quality after harvesting a part, and then adjust it again.

6). The staff should have skilled skills, so that the header and chopper can adapt to the terrain and meet the agricultural requirements, so that the hammer claw of the chopper will not hit the soil, and the reaper and the ear picking roller will not collide with hard objects.

7). When the machine is at the end, do not stop immediately, but continue to run at a constant speed until the straw is completely crushed.

8). Pay attention to heat dissipation. If the engine cooling water is too high, clean the radiator in time. If necessary, add cooling water. When adding cooling water, be careful not to be scalded by the water tank cover.

2. Routine maintenance methods.

1). After working for about three days, the lubrication shall be checked. The oil cup on the reducer shall not be short of oil. The bearing in the adjusting rod of the screw shaft shall be filled with grease once a shift from the adjusting screw hole. Dry grinding is strictly prohibited.

2). All lubricating parts shall be protected from dust and other impurities. The quality of the oil in the reducer of the corn harvester shall be checked once a year. In case of deterioration, all the oil shall be replaced.

3). When the press capacity is reduced and the cake or oil output is abnormal, the press screw shaft should be pulled out to check the wear of the press screw, press bar and cake ring, and the worn parts should be replaced in time.

4). After the end of each shift, the residual cake in the machine shall be removed, and the dust and oil stain on the surface of the machine shall be wiped away.

5). When the corn harvester is stored for a long time after the end of the production season, it should be maintained once, and the screw, strip and cake ring should be removed, washed and re oiled, and placed in a dry place.

3. Maintenance before warehousing.

1) Before warehousing, clean up the sundries on the machine.

2). The belt, chain, spring, crawler and other tensioning devices are loosened. After draining the water in the engine, turn off the switch. The chain and spring shall be stored after being coated with lubricating oil, cleaned with soapy water and wiped clean. All filters and radiator fins also need to be cleaned. Carefully check the transmission oil and the hydraulic oil of the hydraulic device to see if it needs to be replaced.

3). Check the traveling clutch, main clutch friction plate and release bearing, and adjust and replace them according to their working conditions. Remove each spherical bearing and fill lubricating oil from the small hole in the outer circle. Remove the power cord of the battery, remove the battery, pour out the battery liquid, repeatedly wash the battery and zinc sheet with distilled water, and seal them after they are dry.

4). Clean the cutter and sprocket and apply anti rust oil to prevent corrosion. Check the parts and components of each working part for damage, and repair or replace them according to the damage. Fully lubricate all moving parts. Choose a ventilated and dry room to place the harvester, not in the open air. The crawler shall not be in contact with gasoline, engine oil, etc. two boards shall be placed under the crawler for storage. The header must be placed at a low position and the wooden frame must be empty. During storage, the hydraulic control valve and distribution valve shall be pulled 15 times a month at each working position, and the engine crankshaft shall be rotated several times to lubricate the piston and cylinder. Tarpaulin shall also be covered to prevent dust and sundries from entering.
